Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Robert Hein!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fijalka feints and as Hein raises his hands in defense, Fijalka changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fijalka postures up in Hein's guard and throws a big left but Hein blocks it.
Fijalka is stalling in the full guard.
Fijalka trying to control the position from guard on top but Hein is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Fijalka sitting in guard here, content to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fijalka wants to control from the top but Hein keeps moving.
Hein is pulling down on Fijalka's head to control his posture.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Hein wants to stand but Fijalka is controlling the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Fijalka slips a jab and a cross from Hein.
Hein misses with a wild combination.
Nice cross by Hein.
Hein scores with a jab to the jaw.
Hein misses with a two punch combination.

Hein gets caught napping as Fijalka dives in and scores a takedown. Hein manages to retain guard.
Fijalka advances to half guard.
Hein looks like he's trying to stand up.

Fijalka sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hein defending well though.
Fijalka trying to pass the guard but Hein defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fijalka throwing shots but Hein is blocking nicely.
Fijalka seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hein does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Hein throws a series of strikes that have Fijalka backpedaling.


Fijalka is rocked!
Hein is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Fijalka hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
