Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gaston Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Loser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Gaston Ramirez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mike Loser!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loser throws a hook but Ramirez avoids it easily.
Ramirez throws an overhand right that lands on Loser's shoulder, as Loser tries to avoid the shot.
Loser lands a jab to the head.

Loser moves into the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Ramirez is fighting off a takedown attempt but Loser is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Ramirez to the mat. Ramirez regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Ramirez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Loser trying to control but Ramirez is working from the bottom.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Loser wants to pass to mount but Ramirez is defending the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Ramirez is desperately trying to improve his position but Loser has a good base and remains in mount.

Loser pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Loser tries to control but Ramirez wriggling away.

Ramirez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Loser defends it easily.
Ramirez lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Loser bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ramirez's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ramirez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Loser is fending him off so far but Ramirez persists. Nope, Loser circles away and we're back to standing.

Loser closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ramirez's guard.

Loser has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Loser is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Mike Loser showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

I would just about give that final round to Mike Loser.
Well Loser has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
