The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Murata as Hammer shoots in.
Murata with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Murata lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Murata scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Hammer fails to land the takedown.
Hammer looks winded!
Murata keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Murata appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Ryota Murata has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Hammer.
Murata ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Murata feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hammer sprawling to the canvas! Hammer rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Murata finish him?!

Hammer is rocked!

It looks like John Hammer has been cut.

Murata fakes the body blow, causing Hammer to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Hammer goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
