And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Micky Ward!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Steve Montenegro and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward moves out of range as Huntsinger strikes.
Ward connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Ward works Huntsinger's body with a nice hook.
Nice shot by Ward.
Ward lands with a right hand.

Ward clinches up with Huntsinger and pushes him back against the cage.
Ward stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Huntsinger is looking to take this one to the mat.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ward takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Huntsinger drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ward pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ward connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Ward slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Huntsinger takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Ward fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Huntsinger misses with a takedown attempt
and Ward counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Huntsinger is rocked!

It looks like Bubba Huntsinger has been cut.
Ward looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bubba Huntsinger. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ward jabs Huntsinger to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Huntsinger shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ward counters with a nice uppercut.
Oh Huntsinger is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ward fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Huntsinger on the side of the head.

Ward lands a big uppercut and Huntsinger crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Huntsinger looks OK. Ward waves Huntsinger back to his feet!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Huntsinger.
Huntsinger shoots in for a takedown but Ward shows good takedown defense.
Huntsinger seems to have got his legs back now.

Ward sends Huntsinger crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Ward is motioning to the referee to let Huntsinger up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Huntsinger is rocked!
Ward is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Huntsinger had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ward ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Huntsinger out cold! The fight is over!
