Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Moe Lester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jam Slinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jam Slinger is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Lester with that takedown attempt.
Lester pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Slinger feints the counter takedown.
Lester shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lester lands a nice shot to the body.
Lester shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Slinger defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Moe Lester. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Slinger wants to clinch but Lester slips to the side

and Lester counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lester drops back looking for a leg! Slinger is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Slinger manages to kick Lester off! Lester jumps back into Slinger's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Slinger wants to get back to his feet but Lester is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Lester drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lester jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Lester lands a couple of digs.

Lester stands and steps away. Slinger gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Slinger stuffs the takedown attempt from Lester. Lester gets slowly back to his feet.
Lester will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Slinger shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lester as he jumps to the side.
Slinger scores with a head kick. Lester tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Moe Lester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slinger throws a nice head kick!
Slinger fails with a takedown attempt.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Slinger enables Lester to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Slinger manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Lester with a flurry of punches that miss.
Lester passes Slinger's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Slinger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lester. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lester works his way into full mount!

Lester is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Slinger has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Lester is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Slinger has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Slinger!

Slinger is sitting in close to Lester's body. Lester has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Slinger is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Slinger is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lester.

Moe Lester tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
