PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Da Wrestla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and karva perse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). karva perse told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wrestla tries to clinch but perse is having none of it.
perse lands with a nice body kick.
perse shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wrestla as he avoids it easily.
perse wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
perse drops Wrestla with a left and a right! Oh, Wrestla is hurt - perse dives into side control looking to finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Wrestla counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Wrestla.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

perse has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Wrestla avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
perse is trying to drag Wrestla to the mat but Wrestla just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.

Wrestla working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. perse doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. perse manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
