Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Angelos Stamatis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazushi Tanba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stamatis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Audiomachine - Earth Shaker. Kazushi Tanba has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanba fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stamatis manages to avoid it.
Tanba changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stamatis tries to avoid it but Tanba manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stamatis to the ground. Stamatis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Stamatis drops down looking for a counter takedown but Tanba sprawls and moves away.

Tanba drives through with a takedown into guard.
Tanba postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Tanba is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Stamatis is trying to control the position but Tanba postures up.
Tanba scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Tanba has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Power Plant. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tanba accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Tanba stands and throws Stamatis's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Stamatis is working to avoid the ground and pound but Tanba connects with a decent elbow.
Tanba scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Stamatis is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Tanba can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
