Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Djoser Rei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iwan Matwijenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matwijenko comes into a darkened arena with his song building. RANDORI! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Djoser Rei has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Djoser Rei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Iwan Matwijenko!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rei thows a left - swing and a miss!
Rei throws a jab but it's blocked by Matwijenko.
A little jabbing left from Matwijenko on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Matwijenko moves out of range of the body kick from Rei.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Matwijenko crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rei - the referee stops the clock and Matwijenko gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rei. Matwijenko manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Matwijenko lands a jab to the head.
Good leg kick by Rei there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Rei has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cell Block Six in the buildup to the fight.

Rei misses with a few strikes there.
The fighters circle momentarily. Matwijenko darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Matwijenko throws a big shot that misses.
Rei looks to land a left hand but Matwijenko moved out of range nicely.
Rei misses with a hook. Matwijenko ducked under it nicely.
Rei slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

and Rei counters with a big right hand! Oh Matwijenko is in trouble here! Rei follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
