Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matti Teitsi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rufus Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matti Teitsi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rufus Speed!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Speed blocks a jab.
Teitsi fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Speed fails with the takedown.
Teitsi lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Speed scores with a jab to the jaw.
Teitsi checks a low kick from Speed.
Teitsi avoids the head kick by Speed.
Teitsi wants to clinch up but Speed keeps it at a distance.
Speed attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Teitsi looks to score with a jab to the body but Speed is just out of range.
That kick from Speed tenderised Teitsi's leg. Teitsi is trying to keep his angry face on.
Speed fails to land the takedown.
Teitsi throws a poor cross that misses
and Speed counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Teitsi closes the distance and clinches.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Speed can't find room to land a body shot as Teitsi controls the action.
Teitsi pushes Speed back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Speed breaks the clinch.
Speed throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Teitsi misses with a low kick as Speed jumps back.
Teitsi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Matti Teitsi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Teitsi looks to land a body kick but Speed moved away.
A swing and a miss from Speed.
Teitsi throws a right hand that misses
and Speed makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Good leg kick by Teitsi there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Speed swings away with a body shot that misses
and Teitsi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Teitsi drops his hands momentarily and Speed takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Speed feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Teitsi pulls Speed in close to his closed guard and prevents Speed from doing any damage or advancing position.
Teitsi tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Speed loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Teitsi is controlling Speed's posture.
Speed wants to control from the top but Teitsi keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Speed takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Teitsi cracks Speed with a good jab.
Teitsi lands a nice hook to Speed's body. Speed takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Speed lands a lovely overhand right.
Speed slips a jab from Teitsi.
Speed looks like he wants to counter punch here.

A nice leg kick lands there from Teitsi.
Teitsi throws a body punch but Speed moves out of range.
Teitsi throws a hook to the side of Speed's head but Speed sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Teitsi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Speed has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Speed and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Speed keeps the fight on the outside.
Teitsi moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromSpeed.
Teitsi throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Speed connects with a single shot there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Teitsi fails in his attempt to clinch.
Speed misses with a looping left.
It looked like Teitsi wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Teitsi loads up on a big right hand but Speed slips the punch.
As Teitsi backs off Speed throws a huge counter combo but Teitsi manages to avoid it all.
Speed ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Teitsi throws a series of punches but Speed moves out of range.
Speed has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Speed connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Teitsi's hands.
Speed changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Teitsi tries to avoid it but Speed manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Teitsi to the ground. Teitsi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Matti Teitsi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rufus Speed.
Teitsi lands with a cross.

Speed is rocked!
BAM! Teitsi delivers a spinning backfist that drops Speed like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

Matti Teitsi spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
