The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuts throws a left and a right that both miss

and Virtanen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Virtanen.

Virtanen stands up from Nuts's guard - Virtanen perhaps looking for a knockout.

Virtanen shoots in and bounces Nuts off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Nuts can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Virtanen controls the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Virtanen works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Nuts has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Virtanen is working away from the top position though.

Nuts tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
What can Nuts do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Nuts is trying to escape but he's just digging himself into more trouble. Virtanen manages to sink in the hooks and gets a rear naked choke to end the fight in impressive fashion.
