Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between High Sodium (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xiao Long Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li has chosen Dragon Punch! as his entrance music. Xiao Long Li acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Xiao Long Li!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sodium defending well as Li loads up on a big left hand.
Sodium throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Li raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Li missing with a left hand there. Sodium was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sodium looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Li looks to land a right hand but Sodium moved out of range.

Sodium moves into the clinch.
Sodium lands a left hand that snaps the head of Li backwards.
Sodium lands a nice uppercut.
Sodium has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Li is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Li.
Sodium swings wildly with an uppercut but Li uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sodium is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Li gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Sodium lands with a left to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Li lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Li misses with an elbow strike.
Li fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Li looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Sodium scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Sodium takes an elbow to the forehead.

A right handed body shot lands from Sodium.

Li lands an elbow inside that Sodium shrugs off.

Sodium has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Li is trying to keep an underhook but Sodium manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Sodium working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Li's thigh. Li counters though and makes it back to full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Li avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Sodium is pushing down on Li's leg trying to pass to half guard. Li is fighting to maintain full guard but Sodium has managed to sneak the leg through.
Sodium thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Li's head.
Li tries to get to full guard but Sodium has control of the leg.

Sodium is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Li is looking for a triangle here but Sodium uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Li manages to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sodium is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Sodium sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Li defending well though.
Li is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Li is looking to improve his position.

Li is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sodium is looking to advance position but Li won't allow it.
Sodium is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Li reverses the position - he's now on top in Sodium's guard.
Li is in close to Sodium's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Li is working Sodium over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sodium looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Li with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Sodium moves into full mount! Li won't be happy about that!

Sodium lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

It looks like Xiao Long Li has been cut.
Sodium connects with a bit shot that sees Li covering up! More strikes from Sodium and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Sodium is our winner by TKO!
