Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Erick Olivera!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Olivera tries to avoid it but Roy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Olivera to the ground. Olivera escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Olivera throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Roy was covering up waiting for the punch and Olivera finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Olivera passes into half guard.
Roy wants to improve his position but Olivera is controlling well.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Olivera is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Roy is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
