The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Florini shoots in but Van Damme avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Van Damme throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Florini avoids the head kick by Van Damme.
Florini shoots for a double leg takedown but Van Damme sprawls well. He's pushed Florini's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Van Damme throws an overhand right that lands on Florini's shoulder, as Florini tries to avoid the shot.
Florini tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Van Damme swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenny Florini. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Florini gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Florini escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Van Damme gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Florini can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Van Damme controls the pace.

Van Damme really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Florini. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Florini is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Van Damme frees his head nicely. Oh but Florini has switched to an armbar! Van Damme is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
