Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Argos Vasilakis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vasilakis comes to the cage accompanied by Captain Jack!. Andrew Jackson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Lou da Vinci and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vasilakis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Jackson looking to score a takedown here. Vasilakis is defending well but Jackson drives through and ends up in Vasilakis's guard.
Jackson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Vasilakis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jackson wants to pass the guard but Vasilakis is keeping the position.

Jackson looking to sit in guard and control but Vasilakis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Jackson has his foot on Vasilakis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Vasilakis works his way back into a safe position though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Argos Vasilakis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jackson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Vasilakis listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Jackson misses with a looping left.
Vasilakis throws a combination. Jackson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
A nice inside leg kick there by Vasilakis. That's going to slow Jackson down.
Horrible takedown attempt by Jackson or perhaps it was just good defense by Vasilakis, which made it look bad.

Vasilakis connects with a leg kick. Jackson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Vasilakis lands with a kick to the temple. Jackson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jackson.
Vasilakis thinks about countering with a body kick.

Argos Vasilakis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Jackson.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Vasilakis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Vasilakis connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Jackson has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Vasilakis delivers a nice body kick.
Jackson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Vasilakis finds it's way round the side to connect with Jackson's head.

and as Jackson loses concentration momentarily, Vasilakis counters with a picture perfect head kick! Jackson goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
