Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Joe Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ward has chosen Aint nobody got time for dat as his entrance music. Mike Rogan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rogan gets a takedown into half guard.
Rogan takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Rogan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ward with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Ward has hold of Rogan's hands but Rogan slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Rogan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Ward is rocked!
Rogan lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Ward quite badly. Ward pulls Rogan in close trying to recover. Rogan postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Ward on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Ward doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Rogan!
Mike Rogan was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
