Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raine Del Silvan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oliver Queen!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Queen as he connects with a hook.
Queen shoots in but Del Silvan avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Queen drives through and clinches with Del Silvan against the cage.
Queen scores with a nice hook to the head.
Queen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Del Silvan walks away with a smile on his face. Queen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Queen pushes Del Silvan up against the cage in a clinch.
Del Silvan doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Del Silvan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Del Silvan is pushing down on Queen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Queen is fighting to maintain full guard but Del Silvan has managed to sneak the leg through.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Queen can do anything to dispel that myth.
Del Silvan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Queen's head.
Del Silvan looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Del Silvan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Del Silvan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Queen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Queen is refusing to be controlled, as Del Silvan sits in half guard.
Queen has hold of Del Silvan's hands but Del Silvan slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Del Silvan lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Del Silvan is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Queen!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Raine Del Silvan dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Queen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Queen shoots in for a takedown but Del Silvan shows good takedown defense.
Del Silvan drops down looking for a counter takedown but Queen sprawls and moves away.

Queen takes the fight into the clinch.
Del Silvan tries to throw a body punch but Queen avoids it by throwing Del Silvan back against the cage.
Queen misses with a knee strike.
Del Silvan has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Queen after a bit of a struggle.

Queen lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Del Silvan backwards.
Queen is trying to pull guard but Del Silvan has him pressed against the cage.
Del Silvan is trying to pull guard but Queen turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Del Silvan has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Queen is trying to keep an underhook but Del Silvan manages to get the takedown into half guard.
