Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Uthe Haas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dominik Kokoszka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haas comes to the cage accompanied by 2cztery7 - Rozpoznaj. Dominik Kokoszka is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Uthe Haas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dominik Kokoszka!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kokoszka throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Haas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kokoszka looks to throw the jab but Haas is out of range.
Haas quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Kokoszka throws a leg kick but Haas checks it.
Haas throws a jab but it's blocked by Kokoszka.
Kokoszka scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Haas doesn't seem bothered though.
Kokoszka steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Haas.
Kokoszka blocks a head kick by Haas.
Kokoszka listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
A nice inside leg kick there by Haas. That's going to slow Kokoszka down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Haas jumps guard and drags Kokoszka to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Kokoszka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Haas swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Haas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kokoszka gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Haas looking for a guillotine here but Kokoszka defends easily.
Kokoszka works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Haas tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Haas has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kokoszka is working away from the top position though.
Haas wants to improve his position but Kokoszka is controlling well.
Haas is trying to control but can't.
Kokoszka wants to free his trapped foot but Haas is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Kokoszka stalling.
Haas is trying to get back to full guard.

Haas tries to get to full guard but Kokoszka has control of the leg.

Kokoszka slows the pace down in half guard.
Haas tries to roll over but Kokoszka keeps him under control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Kokoszka lands a glancing blow to the side of Haas's head.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Haas throws a lazy body kick
enabling Kokoszka to counter with a crisp jab.
Kokoszka walks into a stiff left hand from Haas.
Haas misses with a low kick.
Kokoszka is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
It appears Haas was looking to counter with a kick there.
Kokoszka pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Haas moves out of range of the body kick from Kokoszka.
Kokoszka bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

and Haas counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A bone on bone clash there as Haas blocks the leg kick.
Haas wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kokoszka throws a leg kick but Haas sees it coming and moves out of range.

A close round but Dominik Kokoszka will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Kokoszka connects with a leg kick. Haas looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kokoszka lands a two punch combo.
Haas shoots in looking for a takedown but Kokoszka manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Haas's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kokoszka fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Haas is out of range.
Kokoszka lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Haas at a distance.
Haas throws a sloppy head kick
and Kokoszka counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Haas throws a hook but Kokoszka blocks it.
Kokoszka on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Haas. Haas obviously looking to wear him down.
Haas turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Haas throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Kokoszka misses with a wild body shot.
Haas drops down looking for a counter takedown but Kokoszka sprawls and moves away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kokoszka. Haas does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kokoszka has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Haas swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Haas on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Kokoszka tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Kokoszka misses with a low kick.
Haas looks to land a right hand but Kokoszka moved out of range.
Haas misses with a straight left.
Haas swings for the body but Kokoszka moves out of range.
Haas throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kokoszka sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kokoszka misses the jab.
Haas throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Haas takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Haas shoots for a takedown but Kokoszka saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A slow jab from Kokoszka misses its intended target.

Haas thumps Kokoszka with a low kick.
Haas fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kokoszka has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kokoszka digs a good hook to Haas's body.
Haas lands with a kick to the ribs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kokoszka throws an overhand right that lands on Haas's shoulder, as Haas tries to avoid the shot.

Haas takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Kokoszka misses with a series of wild punches.
As Kokoszka backs away, Haas returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Haas fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kokoszka.

Kokoszka's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Haas throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
It seemed like Kokoszka was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Kokoszka misses with a low kick.
Haas throws a body shot but no joy.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Haas lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kokoszka has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kokoszka and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Kokoszka takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Haas misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Uthe Haas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kokoszka lands with a kick to the temple. Haas shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Dominik Kokoszka seems to be getting the better of the standup.

A head kick from Haas lands but Kokoszka takes it in his stride.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Haas throws out a leg kick but Kokoszka moves out of range and Haas only half commits.

Dominik Kokoszka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Kokoszka weaves into range and cracks Haas right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Haas goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Kokoszka is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dominik Kokoszka!
An out of breath Dominik Kokoszka thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
