The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sasaki fakes the leg kick and cracks Bartnik in the body.
Bartnik misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Sasaki defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bartnik.
Kenzo Sasaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eryk Bartnik.

Horrible takedown attempt by Bartnik or perhaps it was just good defense by Sasaki, which made it look bad.

Bartnik is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Sasaki looks calm but he's in trouble here. Bartnik gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Sasaki is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Bartnik lets go of the hold and Sasaki can pop his arm back in it's socket.
