Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Shimazu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Mangold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mangold comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dead Prez kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shimazu has closed the distance and engaged Mangold in a clinch.
Shimazu tries to land knees in the clinch but Mangold avoids the damage to the body.
Shimazu lands a nice knee to the body.
Mangold looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mangold jumps guard but Shimazu stands there with Mangold around his waist. Mangold gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

It looks like Danny Mangold has been cut.

Shimazu is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mangold is just riding it out for now. Shimazu eventually gives up the hold.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close round but I would say that William Shimazu will probably get the nod.
