PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Scheihing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gaius Octavius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Gaius Octavius was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Octavius shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Scheihing as he jumps to the side.

Scheihing seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Octavius does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Scheihing is nestled in close to Octavius , controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

That was a close round but I would say that Shane Scheihing will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Scheihing closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Octavius 's guard.

Scheihing has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Octavius to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Scheihing is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Octavius pulls down on the head and he's put Scheihing to sleep! This one is all over!
