The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Essss slaps away a takedown attempt from Coleman, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Essss pushes Coleman up against the cage in a clinch.
Essss controlling the action here for a moment.
Essss is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Essss felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Coleman cracks Essss with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Coleman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
