The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apple lands a slapping body shot.
Brooks changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Apple tries to avoid it but Brooks manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Apple to the ground. Apple escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Brooks gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Apple connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Apple gets the takedown into side control.
Brooks gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Brooks is pressing down on Apple's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Apple preventing the sweep.
Apple trying to control but Brooks is working from the bottom.

Brooks has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Apple should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Brooks has tightened it up now! Apple should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
