Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heriberto Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beef Jerky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beef Jerky has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Heriberto Jones's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Beef Jerky!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Aleksandr Martynov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jerky takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses.

It looks like Beef Jerky has been cut.

Jerky is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jones defends it well.

Jerky feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Jerky is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jerky can do anything to dispel that myth.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jerky is on top in guard.

Jerky drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jerky jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Jerky drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jones looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jones looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jones!

That's time! Jones's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Jerky lands a strong strike to the head of Jones. That's dazed him! Jerky looking to finish here. Jones is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Jerky lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
