Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Micheal Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don Donnik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Don Donnik acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Don Donnik!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Donnik defends well and Knight ends up having to push Donnik into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Knight slips a jab and a cross from Donnik.
Knight shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Donnik but Donnik pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Donnik throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Donnik misses with a two punch combination.
Donnik throws a body shot but no joy.

Knight feints and as Donnik raises his hands in defense, Knight changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Knight has control of Donnik's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Donnik regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Knight goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Donnik is on top in guard.

Donnik shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Knight eats them both and turns towards Donnik to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Donnik has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Knight shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Donnik but Donnik pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Knight changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Donnik tries to avoid it but Knight manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Donnik to the ground. Donnik escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Donnik catches Knight with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Despite the aggression on Donnik's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Knight shoots for a double leg takedown but Donnik sprawls well. He's pushed Knight's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
