The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller walks into a straight right hand from Jackhandler.

Jackhandler fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Miller, pushing him back against the cage.
Miller keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jackhandler's efforts to push away.

Jackhandler pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jackhandler cracks Miller with an open hand slap.
Jackhandler scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

enabling Jackhandler to counter with a crisp jab.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jackhandler darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Miller takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
John Jackhandler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jackhandler forces Miller back against the cage and clinches.
Miller tries to circle away but Jackhandler has him pinned against the cage.
Jackhandler throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Millers head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Miller has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jackhandler uses from the top position.

Jackhandler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Miller on the ground.

Miller has his feet on Jackhandler's thighs here. He's pushed Jackhandler off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Jackhandler screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
