The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McStravick moves into range and clinches up with Ladvik.

McStravick has Ladvik pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. McStravick pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Ladvik tumbling to the mat - McStravick dives into Ladvik's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

McStravick closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

McStravick forces Ladvik back against the cage and clinches.

McStravick breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

McStravick closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ladvik's guard.
Ladvik might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

McStravick changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ladvik looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

McStravick throws a strike aimed at the side of Ladvik's head but Ladvik avoids it well.

McStravick wants to control but Ladvik is keeping him busy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well McStravick has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
