PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harry Nutzack Jnr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rickon Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nutzack Jnr kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Scream and Shoot the metal version. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nutzack Jnr has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Stark scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Stark throws a nice looking combination but Nutzack Jnr bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Stark throws an elbow but Nutzack Jnr slips to the side and avoids it well.
The ground and pound from Stark seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Nutzack Jnr is rocked!
The strikes coming from Stark are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Stark looks up at the clock and then as Nutzack Jnr takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Stark smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Oh Nutzack Jnr is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nutzack Jnr is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Stark misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Nutzack Jnr takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Stark misses with a two punch combination.
Nutzack Jnr seems to have got his legs back now.

Nutzack Jnr shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Stark manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stark is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
