Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keneth Byers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saint Iranaeus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Iranaeus has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Saint Iranaeus will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iranaeus has closed the distance and engaged Byers in a clinch.
Byers wants to get back to striking at distance but Iranaeus won't allow it.
Byers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Byers could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Iranaeus rushes Byers and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Byers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Iranaeus has Byers up against the cage in a clinch.
Iranaeus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Byers breaks from the clinch.
Iranaeus avoids the head kick by Byers.
Byers closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Iranaeus gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Byers.

Iranaeus keeps control of Byers as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Iranaeus tries to circle away but Byers has him pinned against the cage.
Byers wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Byers is trying to force a seperation but Iranaeus has the dominant position.
Iranaeus gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Byers.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keneth Byers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Byers with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Byers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Iranaeus moves into range and clinches up with Byers.

Byers tries to land a knee to the head but Iranaeus blocks with his arms.
Byers is trying to break the clinch but Iranaeus has him pressed against the cage.
Byers has Iranaeus pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Byers pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Iranaeus tumbling to the mat - Byers dives into Iranaeus's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Byers is breathing heavily.
Iranaeus wants to stand but Byers is controlling the position.

Iranaeus is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Byers is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Byers distracts Iranaeus with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Byers thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Byers is pushing down on Iranaeus's leg trying to pass to half guard. Iranaeus is fighting to maintain full guard but Byers has managed to sneak the leg through.
Iranaeus pushes Byers off looking to stand but Byers dives back in and keeps control.
Iranaeus is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Byers has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Iranaeus is tapping! This fight is all over!
