PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Martin Stocks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cornelius Crumpet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crumpet has chosen Kings of Leon - Fans as his entrance music. Cornelius Crumpet is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Cornelius Crumpet!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crumpet looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Stocks looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Crumpet drops back, looking for a kneebar! Stocks looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Stocks looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Stocks!

Cornelius Crumpet showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Stocks dodges the punch combination from Crumpet.
Stocks tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Crumpet swivels and escapes.
Stocks drops his hands momentarily and Crumpet takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Crumpet connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Stocks tumbling to the canvas! Crumpet pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Stocks was done - good stoppage!
