Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Scott Bessac!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vic Vitor!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Chad Campbell and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Vitor coming out on top.
It looks like Scott Bessac has been cut.
Bessac throws a right hand that Vitor ducks under and follows up with a left that Vitor also avoids with ease.
Vitor connects with a body shot.
Vitor cracks Bessac with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Bessac tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Vitor pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Bessac is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vic Vitor!
Vic Vitor decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
