Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Vladimir Khabensky and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mead closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dokken to the mat! Dokken manages to get full guard.
Mead has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Mead controls from within his opponent's guard.
Mead drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mead jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Mead postures up and lands a big shot to Dokken's brow.
Dokken can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mead controls the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mead stands and throws Dokken's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Mead works to advance to full mount. Dokken defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Mead lands a couple of good shots and Dokken has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Dokken looks winded!
Mead is landing with strikes from the back.
Mead cracks Dokken with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Dokken from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
