Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lindsay Singleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ancient Nero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lindsay Singleton has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nero closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Nero tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Singleton successfully pulls guard.
Nero slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Singleton.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nero is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Singleton doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nero.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Singleton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Nero throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Singleton was covering up waiting for the punch and Nero finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Singleton manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Nero is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Singleton is controlling him.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Nero turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Nero manages to end up in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ancient Nero showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Nero has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Singleton regains guard immediately.

Singleton is striking off his back. Nero thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.

Nero cracks Singleton with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Nero is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Singleton is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Singleton flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Nero anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Singleton and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Nero slips an arm under Singleton chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Nero has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Nero is squeezing on Singleton like an anaconda would it's prey. Singleton fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
