The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A punch lands to the side of Black 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Black fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Calderon to the ground. Black is now in Calderon's guard.
Black has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA New York. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Black passes Calderon's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Black content to control rather than advance.
Black works his foot free and advances to mount.

Black throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Calderon has his hands clasped together but Black breaks the hold and Calderon is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Black!
