Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nir Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Galdra Kiddi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nir Sosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Galdra Kiddi!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiddi gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Sosa lands a nice shot to the body.
Sosa throws a right and a left that both miss.
A thudding body kick lands there by Sosa!
Sosa has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kiddi finds it's way round the side to connect with Sosa's head.
Kiddi looks to throw the jab but Sosa is out of range.
Sosa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kiddi circles away quickly and effectively.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sosa.
Kiddi works the jab nicely.
Sosa takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sosa paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.


It looks like Galdra Kiddi has been cut.
A left lands for Sosa.
Sosa looks for a takedown but Kiddi sprawls well.
Kiddi throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Sosa thumps Kiddi with a low kick.
Kiddi misses with a wild body shot.
We've been informed that Kiddi has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Sosa looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Kiddi avoids the head kick by Sosa.
Nir Sosa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sosa comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kiddi tries to clinch but Sosa moves out of range.
Sosa looks to land a combination. Kiddi sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Kiddi has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Sosa.
Sosa lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Sosa changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kiddi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Sosa tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Kiddi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sosa wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Kiddi is holding Sosa down, trying to stall.
Kiddi is looking for a sweep.
Sosa lands some shots froms side control.
Kiddi is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Kiddi is trying to maintain the position but Sosa is very close to passing his half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kiddi wants to get back to full guard.
Ground and pound from Sosa.
Sosa prevents Kiddi from improving his position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sosa lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Kiddi tries to get to full guard but Sosa has control of the leg.
Kiddi avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sosa.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Sosa uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kiddi.
Kiddi's corner calls for a 1-2. Kiddi obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Sosa attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Sosa scores with a punch to the head.
Kiddi lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Sosa throws a body shot but no joy.
Kiddi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sosa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sosa fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kiddi looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Nir Sosa is winning the standup battle so far.
Sosa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kiddi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sosa somewhat.

Sloppy strikes from Sosa. Those never looked like landing.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Sosa. Kiddi shrugs it off though.

Kiddi manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sosa on his heels. He'll look to pass Sosa's guard now, I'm sure.
Kiddi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sosa swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kiddi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Sosa throws a solid leg kick but Kiddi takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Sosa.

Sosa bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Kiddi throws the kick towards the body but Sosa avoids it.
Sosa connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Sosa cracks the inside of Kiddi's front leg.
Kiddi swings for the body but Sosa moves out of range.
Sosa feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Sosa lands with a slapping head kick.
Kiddi has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Sosa.
Kiddi darts in looking for a takedown but Sosa gets double underhooks and turns Kiddi into the cage.
Sosa throws a series of punches but Kiddi moves out of range.

Kiddi pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A shot to the liver by Kiddi. Beautiful body shot.
Sosa shoots in for a double leg but Kiddi sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kiddi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sosa moves away.
Sosa looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Kiddi lands an overhand right.
Kiddi misses with a lunging right hand
and Sosa counters with a stiff right hand.
Sosa avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kiddi thuds his right hand into Sosa's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

and Sosa counters with a takedown into side control.

Kiddi has a hand on Sosa's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Sosa takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Kiddi can't escape the position.

Sosa moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Kiddi has worked his arm free - good work by Kiddi!

Kiddi is looking for a sweep.
Sosa cracks Kiddi with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Sosa grinds an elbow into Kiddi's temple.
Kiddi takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Kiddi is not content to let Sosa control the position.
Sosa looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Kiddi is avoiding damage well.

Nir Sosa showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Sosa has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
