Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Urban Ursson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Project (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Urban Ursson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, The Project!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ursson moves in looking to clinch but Project pushes him off.

Project closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Ursson can't do much from the bottom here.
Project is trying to ground and pound but Ursson uses the momentary lack of control by Project to regain half guard.
Project is figuring out what he wants to do next.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Project's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Let's hope that Project has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Project holds on and takes a little breather.

Project is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Project keeps control of Ursson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Project tries a body shot but Ursson blocks it.
Ursson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Project walks away with a smile on his face. Ursson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Project has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Ursson is trying to keep an underhook but Project manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Project not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Project thows a huge punch but Ursson dodges it nicely.
Ursson is trying to stand up here but Project is controlling him well.
Project keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Project seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Ursson doesn't manage to clinch there - Project circles away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Project stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Project wants it to stay on the feet.

Project misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Project shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ursson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The Project showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Project looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Project frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Ursson wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Project patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
Ursson wants to control his opponent's hands but Project gets his hands free.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Project controlling the positon.
Project keeps control of the position as Ursson tries to break free.
What can Ursson do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

The Project has got the better of the ground game so far.
Ursson is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Project.

Urban Ursson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The Project is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

The Project comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Project winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
