The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Marciano as Perry shoots in.
Perry slips a jab and a cross from Marciano.

Marciano swings for the body but Perry moves out of range.
Perry shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Marciano as he jumps to the side.

Marciano throws a looping overhand right but Perry ducks down to avoid it.
Marciano throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Perry.

Marciano fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Perry manages to avoid it.

Marciano swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Marciano throws a sloppy head kick and Perry moves out of range easily.
Marciano scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Perry looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Perry is looking to advance position but Marciano won't allow it.

Perry is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Marciano doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Perry.
Perry seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Marciano does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Perry thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Marciano is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Marciano takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Perry is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Marciano is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Marciano flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Perry anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Marciano and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Perry slips an arm under Marciano chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Perry has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Perry is squeezing on Marciano like an anaconda would it's prey. Marciano fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
