Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zeke Powers!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Fernandes checks it well.
Powers swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling Fernandes to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Zeke Powers has been cut.
Fernandes closes the distance and clinches.
Fernandes prevents a body shot from Powers.
Fernandes lands a nice elbow.
Powers takes an elbow to the temple.
I was talking to Fernandes's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Powers tries a body shot but Fernandes blocks it.
Powers throws an elbow but it misses.

Fernandes's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Fernandes lands an elbow inside that Powers shrugs off.
That has opened up Zeke Powers's cut even more.
Fernandes lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Powers struggles to land a body shot inside as Fernandes controls his hands.
Fernandes has Powers pushed against the cage.
Fernandes lands a body shot in the clinch.
Powers breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fernandes forces Powers back against the cage and clinches.
Fernandes creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Powers's defenses.
Zeke Powers's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Zeke Powers's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Raf Fernandes!
Raf Fernandes spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
