The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Meow misses its intended target.
Yon Po half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

and Yon Po counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Meow!
Meow is trying to control Yon Po's posture but Yon Po avoids it.
Yon Po wants to stand but Meow is controlling his arm.

Yon Po drops down looking for a counter takedown but Meow sprawls and moves away.
Meow lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

and Yon Po moves into the clinch.
Meow stalling in the clinch but Yon Po improves position.
Yon Po prevents a body shot from Meow.
Meow can't find room to land a body shot as Yon Po controls the action.

Yon Po's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Meow takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Meow needs to keep his hands up - Yon Po had a free shot at his head there.
Meow doesn't succeed with the takedown

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Yon Po for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Meow wants a takedown.

Yon Po breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Meow shoots in and gets a takedown into Yon Po's guard.
Yon Po on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Yon Po tries to get out of the position.
Meow trying to control but Yon Po is working from the bottom.
Meow stands and throws Yon Po's legs to the side, diving into side control.
We've been hearing good reports from Yon Po's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Meow has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Yon Po is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Meow yanks on the arm and Yon Po is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Meow.
