The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ooo missing with a left hand there. Sorentino was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Sorentino might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Ooo has got the better of the exchanges.

Sorentino is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Sorentino crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ooo - the referee stops the clock and Sorentino gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ooo. Sorentino manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Sorentino ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Ooo's jaw. Ooo's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Sorentino does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
