Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ed Rollack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Havel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rollack comes to the ring accompanied by Will T. Bear - For a Few Dollars More . Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ed Rollack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, John Havel!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rollack moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Rollack displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Havel.
Rollack stuffs the takedown attempt from Havel. Havel gets slowly back to his feet.

Rollack shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rollack showed some decent athleticism there.
Rollack lands with a punch from half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Rollack is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Havel is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Rollack scores with a couple of nice shots.
Rollack looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Havel with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Havel is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Rollack's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Rollack's back!
Havel trying to control momentarily.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Rollack just trying to survive but Havel is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Rollack is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Wax on Wax off 'Dojo, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Rollack is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

Havel looking for the choke but no joy.

Rollack is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.

Rollack fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Havel sprawls well initially but Rollack persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Rollack is nestled in close to Havel, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Havel is looking for a sweep. Rollack is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Rollack is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Havel sees it coming and defends easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rollack lands with a punch from half guard.
Havel wants to control but Rollack is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Rollack is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Rollack is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Havel defends it well.
Rollack is taking a breather. Havel says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Rollack lands with a punch from half guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Rollack is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Havel doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rollack.

Rollack is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Havel is just riding it out for now. Rollack eventually gives up the hold.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rollack lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Havel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rollack moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Rollack is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Havel's half guard.
Havel wants to control but Rollack is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Rollack landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Rollack is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Havel has hold of Rollack's hands but Rollack slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Havel closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rollack circles away.

Rollack drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Rollack keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Havel's head.
Ed Rollack overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Havel is working an open guard so Rollack takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Rollack drives through with a takedown into guard.

Rollack postures up and lands a big shot to Havel's brow.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rollack's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Rollack distracts Havel with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Rollack is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Havel can do to turn this around?
Rollack wants to control from the top but Havel keeps moving.

Rollack drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rollack jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Havel is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Rollack cracks Havel with a solid left hand.
Rollack lands a couple of digs.
Havel keeping full guard, as Rollack tries to pass.

Havel escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rollack gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Havel wants to control the position but Rollack says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Rollack is looking for a kimura but Havel is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rollack to get the leverage.

Rollack is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Rollack postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Havel is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Rollack, into his guard.

Ed Rollack is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Havel throws a big right hand that misses.
Rollack has control of Havel's left arm, preventing Havel from doing any damage.
John Havel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well Rollack has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
