Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Avengers Avenge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirco Rodic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodic darts in trying to clinch

and Avenge counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Avenge trying to control but Rodic is working from the bottom.
Avenge tries to free his leg and advance position but Rodic is retaining full guard.

Avenge drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Avenge jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rodic pulls Avenge in close to prevent any damage.

Rodic working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Avenge has passed into half guard!
Rodic tries to kick Avenge off in order to stand up. Avenge Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Rodic is looking to reverse the position.

Avenge is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Rodic is trying to escape and Avenge transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Rodic is forced to tap! Nice work there by Avenge! Very nice indeed!

The Avengers Avenge opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
