Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Santiago Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paddy McCracken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palmer comes to the cage accompanied by GSP - Not Impressed. McCracken has chosen You Can't Bring Me Down as his entrance music. Santiago Palmer has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paddy McCracken!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCracken throws a looping overhand right but Palmer ducks down to avoid it.
Palmer does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
McCracken takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
McCracken throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Palmer's waist but Palmer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McCracken off to one side.
McCracken fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
McCracken closes this distance looking for a takedown but Palmer circles away.
Santiago Palmer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paddy McCracken.
Nice defenses there by Palmer.

and Palmer counters with a single leg into guard. McCracken didn't expect that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McCracken is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Palmer's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Palmer's back!
