The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Onyewu catches Alberts right on the button with a cross.

Onyewu moves into range and clinches up with Alberts.
Onyewu misses with an elbow over the top.
Alberts is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Alberts tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Onyewu avoids it.
Onyewu lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Alberts fails to pull guard.
Onyewu misses with an elbow strike.
Onyewu cracks Alberts with a nice body shot.
Onyewu looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Alberts dodges an elbow strike from Onyewu.
Onyewu lands a hook to the side of the head.
Still in the clinch, Onyewu scores with a nice short uppercut.
Onyewu lands a hook to the side of the head.
Onyewu lands with a right to the head.
A nice right hand lands inside from Onyewu.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Alberts misses with a punch to the body.
Onyewu throws an elbow that misses.
Onyewu lands a body shot.

Alberts blocks an elbow strike.

Alberts gets control of Onyewu's arms and successfully pulls guard. Alberts will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Alberts is looking for a triangle but Onyewu pushes his legs off easily.

Onyewu avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Alberts is looking to cinch up a triangle. Onyewu throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Alberts's body to avoid the submission. Alberts has instead reached around Onyewu's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Alberts arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
