Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Ewell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ewell comes into the arena with White Dude blaring out of the sound system. Anderson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Black Veil Brides - The Legacy. The key to victory for Steve Ewell has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ewell throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Anderson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ewell was covering up waiting for the punch and Anderson finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Ewell wants to stand and escape but Anderson is having none of it.
Anderson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ewell is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Anderson is controlling him.

Ewell is trying to maintain a safe position but Anderson gets an underhook and turns Ewell into the cage.
Ewell creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Anderson's defenses.

Ewell breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Ewell stalks Anderson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Anderson's face. Anderson staggers backwards, shaken.
Steve Ewell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Anderson shoots in for a takedown but Ewell shows good takedown defense.
Steve Ewell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Anderson.
Anderson shoots in but no luck this time.
Ewell pushes Anderson away with a front kick.

Ewell connects with a nice looking jab.

Ewell lands a big head kick that sends Anderson tumbling to the mat! Ewell takes a step backwards and waves Anderson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Anderson is rocked!
Anderson drops his hands momentarily and Ewell needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Anderson just on the top of the head. Anderson drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Anderson - he's done!
