The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Alexandre Firmino and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gattuso throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Romo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Gattuso lands with a hook. Romo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Romo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gattuso blocks a head kick by Romo.
Romo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gattuso has time to react.
Gattuso tries to bum rush Romo with a series of wild strikes but Romo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gattuso has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Warehouse in the buildup to the fight.
Gattuso is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Romo.
Romo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Gattuso is looking to chop away at Romo's legs.
A slow jab from Gattuso misses its intended target.
Romo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gattuso.
Gattuso misses with a looping right.
A solid leg kick lands there for Romo.
Gattuso throws a head kick that misses.
Nice body punch from Romo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gattuso takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Romo looks to land a left hand but Gattuso moved out of range nicely.
Romo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gattuso.
Gattuso scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like John Kyle Romo has been cut.
Gattuso throws a sloppy head kick and Romo moves out of range easily.
Gattuso pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Romo throws a fast counter high kick but Gattuso manages to duck under it in time.
Romo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Gattuso scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Romo is rocked!
Gattuso takes a swing at Romo's ribcage but misses.
Romo is still on wobbly legs! Can Gattuso finish him?
Gattuso moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Gattuso fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Romo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Gattuso checks a low kick from Romo.
Gattuso connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Romo out cold! This one is over in a flash!

A relieved looking Javier Gattuso thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
