The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klyka shoots in but Wells avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Klyka fails with the takedown.
Klyka shoots for a double leg takedown but Wells sprawls well. He's pushed Klyka's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Flex Klyka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wells steps into range and cracks Klyka with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Klyka flops backwards and Wells dives into his guard looking to finish!

Klyka is rocked!

It looks like Flex Klyka has been cut.
Klyka is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wells passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Oh Klyka is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Klyka being controlled for a moment.
Klyka seems to have got his legs back now.
Klyka tries to buck Wells off but Wells is having none of it.

Wells decides to stand up, so the ref orders Klyka to his feet.
Klyka shoots in for a takedown but Wells shows good takedown defense.
Wells loads up on a big right hand but Klyka slips the punch.
Klyka slips under a jab.
Wells scores with a hook to the body. Klyka takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Wells throws a hook to the side of Klyka's head but Klyka sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Wells throws a lazy right hand but Klyka sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wells looks to throw the jab but Klyka is out of range.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wells lands a big shot that drops Klyka! Can he finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Wells stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
A slow jab from Wells misses its intended target.
Wells cracks Klyka with a left hook right on the temple and Klyka goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Wells lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Klyka is OK!
