PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Page (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Jyllendael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Page comes to the cage accompanied by The Hand That Feeds. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Page!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jake Jyllendael!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jyllendael looks to land a body kick but Page moved away.
Page attempts a counter takedown but Jyllendael avoids it well and moves away.
We've been told by Page's head coaches at VENDETTA Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jyllendael goes for a double leg but Page avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Page continues to drive forward.
Jyllendael displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Page.
Despite the aggression on Jyllendael's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Page keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Jyllendael fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Page sprawls well initially but Jyllendael persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
