Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wojtek Dur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wojtek Dur!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Steve Montenegro and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robertson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Dur moves out of range of the strikes.
Robertson swings for the body but Dur moves out of range.
Dur takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Dur takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Robertson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Robertson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Malicious Intent Gym in the buildup to the fight.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Dur has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Robertson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dur eats them both and turns towards Robertson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Robertson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dur circles away quickly and effectively.

Dur thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Robertson if he has to take too many more of those.

Dur tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Robertson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Robertson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dur moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dur lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Dur throws a solid leg kick but Robertson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Dur.

Dur follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.

Robertson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dur can do to turn this around?

Robertson closes the distance and pushes Dur back into the cage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Dur pushes a forearm under Robertson's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Robertson is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
