The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy lands the left hand.

Kennedy gets caught flat footed, as Bryant shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bryant throwing strikes from guard but Kennedy blocks nicely.
Kennedy is trying to keep Bryant in close.
Kennedy keeping moving, preventing Bryant from controlling successfully.
Bryant has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kennedy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bryant accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bryant trying to control the position from guard on top but Kennedy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kennedy. Bryant does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kennedy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bryants jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Domino Kennedy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kennedy drops Bryant with a big left hand and mounts him. Bryant is in big trouble!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bryant is trying to stand up here but Kennedy is controlling him well.

Kennedy lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Bryant quite badly. Bryant pulls Kennedy in close trying to recover. Kennedy postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Bryant on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Bryant doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
