The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christ displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kanagai throws out the jab.
Kanagai throws a combination. Christ tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Christ throws a body shot but no joy.
Kanagai appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Kanagai uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Christ.
Jesus Christ seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kanagai tries to clinch up but Christ circles away and keeps his distance.
Christ throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kanagai counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kanagai on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Christ tests Kanagai's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Christ moves forwards but Kanagai connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Christ is rocked!
Kanagai pounces like a tiger and cracks Christ with a vicious hook! Christ is down but not out! Kanagai follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
